A Letter From  Mayor John T. McDonald III

Dear Friend of the Cohoes Music Hall:

As the seventh season of the Cohoes Music Hall kicks off under the direction of C-R Productions, I am pleased to lend my support and to ask for yours. Since C-R Productions has arrived in Cohoes in 2002, Jim and Tony have breathed new life into this historic building and performance venue and at the same time, have played a critical role in the revitalization of this city. The streets are alive again in downtown Cohoes and I can confidently state that the performances at the Cohoes Music Hall are one of the driving factors in this success.

Your support is critical in ensuring that this season will be yet another successful season at the Cohoes Music Hall.  Patrons of Cohoes Music Hall come from all parts of the Capital Region and beyond, and this is a tremendous opportunity to not only support the Arts in Cohoes but to share your business with an audience who has an appreciation for arts and culture. 

We need your help more now than ever! Here's an easy way for you to help C-R Productions:

$5 For A Dream

If each person who receives this letter donates $5 and asks five friends who support the arts to donate $5, we will help to bridge the gap of annual giving and corporate fundraising. As an incentive, if you would like to donate $30 yourself, in addition to asking your friends, we will give you a voucher for 2 Balcony Seats to a performance of your choice this season. Your friends will be offered the same if they choose to donate $30 and tell five friends.

As another thank you, your name will appear in the program booklet as well. Word of mouth has always been C-R Productions' best form of publicity. What better word of mouth than an endorsement to your friends from you, our wonderful supporter. If you tell two people and they tell two people about C-R Productions, our support grows stronger. Help Jim and Tony keep their dream alive!
