CAST

Alexander Benson (Ensemble) is pleased to be a part of this production. He has been participating in theater for over six years. His favorite roles include Daddy Warbucks, Snoopy, and Audrey II.

Brittany Boivin (Cosette) is thrilled to be in this production of Les Miserables at the beautiful Cohoes Music Hall ! She appeared with C-R Productions last season as Leisl in The Sound of Music and as an ensemble member in Ragtime. This past summer, Brittany worked as an apprentice at the Mac-Haydn Theatre and she has appeared in numerous productions there including The Music Man, The Little Mermaid, Brigadoon, The Emperor's New Clothes, Alice in Wonderland, and Cinderella. Brittany would like to offer her sincere thanks to Jim, Tony, Michael, Adam and the entire C-R Productions team for this wonderful opportunity, as well as her family and friends for their constant love and support.

Jacqueline Bouchard (Ensemble) is thrilled to be appearing in her first show with C-R Productions. This past summer, Jacqueline had a blast performing in Park Playhouse II's production of Bye- Bye Birdie. She wishes to thank C-R Productions for this amazing opportunity, her parents for being the world's best role models, and the one and only Boivin family for all the popcorn!

Will Boyajian (Valjean) a Shenendahowa senior, is thrilled to be playing Jean Valjean in his first performance with C-R Productions at Cohoes Music Hall. He has also performed several roles with the Shenendahowa Musical Company: Paul in Kiss Me Kate and Brian O'Bannion in Auntie Mame. This past summer Will studied at New Paltz with the New York State Summer School of Arts for a 4 week theatre program. He wishes the cast the best of luck.

Mandel (“Mandy”) Clemente (Young Cosette/Young Eponine) is ecstatic to be performing with C-R Productions! Previously, she performed in SYFI's Cinderella (Fairy Godmother) and Grease Jr. (Rizzo), CAP's Toy Camp (Saw) and Goff Middle School 's Joseph … Dreamcoat (Benjamin). She thanks Jim and Tony for their guidance and Lisa Franklin for all of her support!

Taylor Collins (Enjolras) is happy to return for his third production with C-R Productions after just finishing Miss Saigon. A senior at Columbia High School, he's worked with many theaters all over the Capital Region. He toured Europe with American Music Abroad and received a SLOC award. Much thanks to his friends and family.

Christopher Flaim (Gavroche) is in 6th grade at St. Pius X and is very excited to be performing at Cohoes Music Hall ! Past performances at The Hilton Center for Performing Arts include: Jo Jo in Seussical , Sept. 2007, Storyteller in Once on this Island Jr., May 2007, and The Steward in Into the Woods Jr., February 2006. Other activities include tennis, golf, baseball, and soccer. Christopher is also taking voice lessons with Mrs. Franklin. He would like to thank his family for all their love and support.

Charles Franklin (Marius) attends Shaker High School . Was seen last season as Friedrich in C-R Productions' The Sound of Music. Regional credits include: Ryan Evans in High School Musical (Glove Theater), Jack: in Into the Woods (Park Playhouse), Young Patrick in Mame (Mac-Haydn Theatre), Billy in On Golden Pond (Theatre Barn), Michael in American Soup (NYSTI), and John in Peter Pan (Upstage Productions). Other favorite roles: Jonny Warner in Zombie Prom and Horton in Seussical (Debuts Theater). Charles studies voice with his mother, Lisa Franklin. He dances at Orlando 's and has been a member of the Disney Dance Team.

John David Ganther (Ensemble) is making his debut at the Cohoes Music Hall . Previous roles include: Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz), Cat in Honk!, Daniel in Once On This Island), and Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof. He would like to thank his family and friends for their support in his drive for the arts.

Angelia Golden (Ensemble) is thrilled to be performing at the Cohoes Music Hall. She has worked with Park Playhouse, Family Players and CSYT. Favorite roles include Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors and Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes. She will be the Witch in Into the Woods this spring with Colonie High School.

Ryan Glynn (Ensemble) has been in numerous productions at Scotia-Glenville High School. He was recently in Pippin as the title character at Cononial Little Theatre in Johnstown where he received a TANYS merit award for performance. This is Ryan's first production with Cohoes Music Hall and he is very excited to be apart of the Les Miserables cast.

Stephanie Gray (Mme. Thenardier) is a junior at Shenendehowa and is very excited to be performing at the Cohoes Music Hall. Stephanie has been involved in theatre since seventh grade. This is her 13th show! Favorite shows include: Peter Pan, Annie, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Camelot, Oliver, and Kiss Me, Kate. She would like to thank everyone at the Cohoes Music Hall for all of all of their hard work and dedication, making our production wonderful. She would also like to thank the cast of Les Miserables for being so wonderful (Break a Leg Guys!) Last but not least, she would like to thank her family, especially her mother and father, for all of their encouragement and support.

Krista Harbacz (Ensemble) is making her debut at the Cohoes Music Hall. She was in No Strings Attached last year at Cohoes High School. Krista would like to thank her brother Nick for inspiration and Mrs. Hayes her vocal teacher for all her help.

Bill Hennings (Javert) is a sophomore at Colonie High School. Past roles include Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors, and Conrad in Bye Bye Birdie. Bill would like to thank his family for their support.

Sara Mae Hickey (Ensemble) is pleased to debut at Cohoes Music Hall. She is a classically trained soprano, and studied at the Boston Conservatory this summer. She is the 2007 recipient of the Joel Dolven Vocal Award from Albany 's Mendelssohn Club. Sara has performed in numerous productions for Mohonasen Schools and SLOC since age five.

Celeste Hudson (Ensemble) is happy to be back at Cohoes Music Hall. She was seen here in last season's High School Musical. She has appeared in numerous musicals. Some of her favorite roles include: Fastrada in Pippin, Aldonza/Dulcinea in Man of La Mancha, and Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street. She dances with the Northeast Ballet Company and performs in annual Nutcrackers, recitals, and education programs at Proctors Theatre.

Casey Kalica (Ensemble) is thrilled to be in Les Miserables. She is a senior at Colonie High, President of the Drama Club, member of NHS and Senate Secretary. She has been acting/singing in local theater since age 5. Much love to her family, friends and the cast/crew of Les Mis!

Rhiannon LaCross (Ensemble) is making her Cohoes Debut and is excited to be part of this incredible cast. She is a Senior at Broadalbin-Perth High School. Last seen as Cinderella in Into the Woods at Fulton-Montgomery Community College. She would like to thank her Mom and Ted for all of their love and support.

Jacob Luria (Ensemble) is excited to be participating in Cohoes Production of Les Miserables. This is Jake's second production at Cohoes. He was in last season's High School Musical. Jake has participated in theatre since sixth grade. Some of his favorite roles include: Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof and Horton the Elephant in Staging Youths Future Inc.'s production of Seussical. Currently Jake is the romantic lead in his school's fall production of The Drunkard. He would like to thank his parents and grandma for all their support during his shows.

Ben McCauley (Ensemble) has performed in seven shows in the past three years. Favorite roles; Cogsworth in Beauty and The Beast, The Captain in Anything Goes, and Peter Thorkelson in I Remember Mama.

Zoe McGreevy (Young Cosette/Young Eponine) is excited to be back on stage at Cohoes Music Hall ! Past favorite roles at Cohoes Music Hall include Molly in Annie (2005) and Brigitta in The Sound of Music (2006).

Cara O'Brien (Eponine) is thrilled to be back at the Cohoes Music Hall for her second show. Last year she had the great opportunity to be in the cast of High School Musical. This summer she was pleased to be a part of a month long conservatory at Hubbard Hall for an excellent learning experience. Cara also takes voice lessons and enjoys singing above anything else. Other favorite shows include: You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Sally), Once Upon a Mattress (Lady M), My Sister Eileen (Helen Wade), Kiss Me Kate (Ensemble), and High School Musical (Thespian). Cara would like to thank everyone at C-R Productions for giving her this incredible experience! A heart full of love for family and friends for all there love and support!

Kelsey Poore (Fantine) is a senior in Shenendehowa High School and is so excited to be involved in her first performance with C-R Productions. Kelsey is involved in her high school drama club and has performed in Camelot, Kiss Me Kate (featured dancer), and Auntie Mame. She would like to thank her parents for their support, and her brother Kyle for his endless faith in her.

Anthony Rotondaro (Mssr. Thenardier) is thrilled to be making his Cohoes Music Hall debut! Favorite roles include: Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, and Albert in Bye Bye Birdie. Many thanks to his family, friends, and Tricia for their continuous support!

Audrey Saccone (Ensemble) is thrilled to be in Les Miserables. Favorite roles include: Jack's Mother in Into the Woods, Madame de Grande Bouche in Beauty and the Beast, and the Homeless Woman in Little Shop of Horrors.

Adam Sax (Ensemble) is excited to be performing with C-R Productions. He would like to thank his parents and Michele for schlepping him between school, rehearsal and home. And of course, he hopes you enjoy the show!

John Scala (Ensemble) sometimes called Ichabod, is pleased to be doing his first show with C-R Productions. He has previously appeared in several productions with NYSTI, as well as Park Playhouse II and at Niskayuna High School where he is a sophomore. He thanks his friends and family for their love and support.

Paul Smith (Ensemble) is thrilled to make his debut at the Cohoes Music Hall in such a great show. He has done many school and children's theatre productions. Previous roles include Doody in Grease, Mayor in Seussical the Musical, and Ambrose Kemper in SLOC's Hello Dolly.

Tommy Swimm (Ensemble) is proud to be in his second production at the Cohoes Music Hall . Tommy's greatest accomplishment is receiving the TAAYS for his part in RPI's production of Happy Birthday Wanda June . His previous shows include The Wizard of Oz (Toto), Oklahoma (Curly), and High School Musical (Skater Dude). Tommy thanks his fellow actors, Jim, and God for allowing him to enjoy this opportunity.

Jill Varner (Ensemble) is a senior at Colonie High School and is thrilled to make her debut with C-R Productions. Favorite past performances include Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors, Sharpay in High School Musical, and Charity in Anything Goes. She would like to thank her family and friends for all their support!

C-R KIDS - The Program

C-R Kids - a resident youth acting company that offers a total theatre experience to its members. A total theatre experience means that all C-R Kids have opportunities to act, sing, dance, direct, design, stage manage, choreograph, run lights and sound, backstage crew, box office, concessions, and marketing.

There’s an abundance of possibilities for kids ages 7 to 18 years old to get in the act so not only will C-R Kids perform on the Cohoes Music Hall stage in ONCE ON THIS ISLAND JR. but C-R Kids will also have the opportunity to tour the musical production to elementary and middle schools all over the Capital Region. In addition, this is also part of C-R Productions' Community Links Intergenerational program which will perform at senior and community centers.

C-R Productions aims to provide quality after-school programs for children by offering unique opportunities and enriching experiences. C-R Kids participants will learn a variety of new skills and will be rewarded by their accomplishments. They will have the opportunity to work with regional and visiting artists and theatre professionals and will learn team-work, communication and problem solving skills as well as time management and self-discipline through various project activities. C-R Kids provides activities which foster the development of positive social and emotional skills and encourages creative thinking and self-expression. The program seeks to meet the needs of the children and their families by developing continuity between school, after school, and home.
